A symposium on data and health was held on August 26, 2024, at the Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) in Ethiopia. The event aimed to facilitate interdisciplinary networking among stakeholders working in health data science, promote the potential of big data, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies in transforming the health system, and introduce the various recently funded data science projects.
