About ITEO
The Information and Technology Executive Office (ITEO) has a responsibility of enhancing the institutional ability to update information easily and support, guide, consult and train researchers in overall usage of current ICT technologies and availing accessible and genuine user support. Moreover, expected to contribute for smooth, fast, and undisrupted communication and networking systems. The Executive Office is a composition of network and system administrator, graphic designer, web management and administrator, and IT technical supporters. The office is responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of the infrastructure, hardware, and software utilization.
Mission of the office
The Information and Technology Executive Office of the Institute stands for the up to date and finely compiled data management and presentation system in AHRI. It thrives to provide a secure, reliable and well-structured information and communication technology in AHRI.
Major areas of work
- Design, plan, set up, maintain and expand the network
- Administrate network security and troubleshoot network problems
- Data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and determined where changes need to be made
- Manage servers and their operating systems
- Added users to a network and assign and update security permissions on the network.

- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and network.
- Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
