AHRI acknowledges receiving funding from Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) in addition to Ethiopian Government contribution, which it uses to support among other things students’ research. These include epidemiological, biomedical, clinical and social studies for characterization of poverty-related and neglected diseases. Support from Sida is part of the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership 2 (EDCTP2) programme supported by the European Union.
