The strategic Initiative for Developing Capacity in Ethical Review (SIDCER) in collaboration with the Pan-African Bioethics Initiative (PABIN) renews recognition of the AHRI/ALERT Ethics Review Committee (AAERC) for its compliance with the declaration of Helsinki, International Council for Harmonization (ICH) Guidelines, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards, Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS) Guidelines and other relevant international and local regulations. The renewed recognition was awarded during the 19th FERCAP General Assembly in Penang, Malaysia on November 27, 2019. The award was received from Dr Juntra Karbwang, SIDCER coordinator on 07 February 2020.
