With support from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) successfully hosts the 5th CEBHA+ Annual Networking Meeting from 6th to 9th September 2022 at the Hilton Hotel at Addis Ababa.
The CEBHA+ team, a consortium which at its core was set to build long-term capacity and infrastructure for evidence-based healthcare and public health in sub-Saharan Africa, held the networking meeting to share success stories, achievements, challenges, lessons learnt and to network and build the capacity of CEBHA+ members.
All partners of the collaboration (AHRI, Makerere University, University of Rwanda, Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, Stellenbosch University, Cochrane South Africa, CDIA, LMU Munich, and University of Freiburg), shared updates on the research tasks and had interactive deliberations on the same. Moreover, CEBHA+ students showcased their academic experiences and successes.
Reflective of the achievements of the partnership, the future plans of CEBHA+ was discussed in light of future finding.
