AHRI takes lead in spurring institutional mentorship at the 31st National Education Conference which was held from November 17-19 2022 in Hawassa University, Ethiopia.
Cognizant of the need to improve the research culture both at academic and research institutions in Ethiopia , Dr. Alemseged Abdissa, AHRI-Deputy Director General- Research and Innovation, promoted the recently launched “HEalth Research MEntorship in Low and Middle-Income CountrieS (HERMES)” practical guide to higher institution heads for uptake of the guide in their respective institutions.
At the event, the higher education officials were acquainted with the HERMES guide which seeks to cultivate a pay-it-forward culture for institutional mentorship in low resource settings.
