SIDCER renews the recognition of the AHRI/ALERT Research Ethics Review Committee (AAERC). This prestigious recognition is based on a rigorous assessment of the AAERC’s committee organization including the professional diversity (field of expertise) of its members, the structural arrangements of its office and its being independent in the operation, and its compliance with ICH GCP standards, CIMOS guidelines, WHO standards and operational guidance for ethics review of health related research and surveying and evaluating ethical review practices, EC/IRB standard Operating Procedures and local regulations and standards in ethical review.
